Google Pixel 7 supporta la doppia eSIM dopo l’aggiornamento ad Android 13 QPR2 Beta 2

Con qualche settimana di anticipo rispetto ai predecessori, Google ha presentato qualche giorno fa i nuovi smartphone Pixel 7 e Pixel 7 Pro. Oggi parliamo del Pixel 7 perché sembra che la doppia funzionalità eSIM sia arrivata su questo smartphone.

Sebbene la funzionalità esistesse già sul dispositivo, questa è la prima istanza segnalata in cui entrambe le eSIM possono essere attive contemporaneamente. Sembra che non potrai sfruttare la funzione ora a meno che il tuo dispositivo non sia iscritto al programma Android Beta. La modifica è stata individuata da un utente su Reddit ed è stata confermata da Mishaal Rahman di Esper tramite uno screenshot, che mostra la doppia funzionalità eSIM con entrambi i profili attivi. Non è chiaro quando sia stata abilitata la nuova funzionalità dual eSIM, ma ora sembra che funzioni con Google Pixel 7 con aggiornamento Android 13 QPR2 Beta 2.

Google Pixel 7 e Pixel 7 Pro sono disponibili da subito anche in Italia contrariamente a quanto accaduto lo scorso anno con i Pixel 6 e possono essere acquistati sul Google Store ed anche su Amazon, al prezzo di 649 euro per Pixel 7 da 128 GB e di 899 euro per Pixel 7 Pro da 128 GB.
